Let’s start at the beginning, namely to define the precise object of your quest: “the right backlink”. What would be a good link building strategy without a clear definition of what a successful and useful link is for your site?
As the name does not indicate, a backlink is a link created (by you or by a third person) which redirects to your website.
From the English “back link”, a backlink above all does not imply a reciprocity of the link but rather a recommendation to go to a useful site for the Internet user. A back link would not only be useless but above all frowned upon by Google robots in particular. We avoid giving grain to Google Penguin, and we prefer a healthier net linking campaign that is more relevant to the end user.

Before creating links, we think about sorting!
As surprising as it may seem, an existing site already has a greater or lesser number of backlinks. Unfortunately, not all of them are good for your SEO.
We invite you to analyse all your links and their toxicity with tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs or Majestic.
Once the harmful links are removed, add to your analysis a focus on the backlinks of your main competitors, this will represent for you a source of inspiration. The good links from your competitors are likely to also meet your expectations.
Directories: a technique to start, a little, a lot, not too much either!
There are an infinite number of directories on the web, each more attractive than the last. Yes, but far from being an asset for your SEO, they will especially make you waste time without real results.
We therefore invite you to select directories with high traffic and listing companies similar to yours. For the rest, it is better to devote time and effort to generate more convincing backlinks.
Buying links? We also avoid
Why? The answer is as simple as the question: because it is expensive and there is no guarantee of long-term results. Your objective remains and will remain the longevity of the link, so we favour links created by us, which we know are useful and which we can control at any time. It would be harmful to buy no follow links without knowing it.
Social networks: unlimited link creation
Yes, certainly, but it would be far too simple. If social networks allow you to generate many links, they are unfortunately of the no follow type. That is to say?
The Google robot interprets this as a link it does not follow, unlike a do follow which invites it to go to the site, like a recommendation. The power of the link is reduced to its minimum and therefore has no impact on your SEO. We will therefore give pride of place to community management in terms of brand awareness and image, but we will pass on our path as regards the creation of backlinks.
Your partners: allies of choice!
Your partners, suppliers… are your best assets to succeed in your quest. You just have to contact them at a regular rate (so as not to have all the links created at the same time) and to be transparent in your approach.
If not, everyone will agree to add a link to your site, some will gladly do so and give you a quality link. Do not hesitate to submit the form you want for your backlink (anchor, destination URL, presentation, etc.).

Who better to talk about you than you? The guest article represents a fairly time-consuming background work but it is also the one that is the best seller on the canvas for multiple reasons.
It offers internet users useful content on the topics they are looking for and love. It helps the community to make the canvas enriching for the state of the art.
When writing, don’t forget to optimize your article (if you have control over the publication submission) in terms of Title, meta description, Alt…
What does it consist on? Quite simply, to write cutting-edge articles on given themes; articles that you then entrust (exclusively, we insist on this point) to blogs. It is important to note here that the quality of the content offered must be your workhorse, and originality your guideline. If you are short of time, or want to be accompanied, opt for a web editor specialized in natural referencing.
The Skyscraper method, even if reaching the top is not always easy
This method joins the notion of invited articles on one point: the quality of the content. It is for you to target articles that have a strong reputation (and therefore a lot of associated backlinks) and to offer even more successful content. The idea conveyed here is to offer content that is always richer and more relevant to readers, then target the sites that have created the backlink containing the article, and submit your article to them as a replacement.
We will not fail here to quote an article which will describe to you in detail this technique with largely proven and proven potential. In the case of this method, it will be essential to follow the repeats of your article in order to ensure the conservation of the backlink originally created.
If the latter has not been reproduced, it is essential to address the author of the recovery and invite him (elegantly) to quote you directly.
Free places as prime targets
The technique exposed here is that of highlighting dead links on a blog. Your job is therefore to study gaps left by blogs and to submit content that would replace the dead link thus identified.
To do this, nothing could be simpler (if not the time). You need to go to blogs in your topic and use tools like Check My Links, Broken link check for example. Once you have identified the link that seems suitable for the subject you are able to deal with , start writing and then submit your work to the said site.
Very often, the administrator will be satisfied to be able to improve the user experience on his blog. Nature abhors a vacuum, we know that.
Not writing an article? So, give your opinion!
The technique may seem simple but it can quickly become tedious. We therefore invite you to select relevant and popular blogs that accept the publication of reviews (not all allow it). You must first check the quality of the link created (in do follow and the possibility of placing optimized anchors) as well as the quality of the article on which you will give your opinion.
In the case of this publication, it is useful to cite additional sources to the article and specially to ensure 15 days after the actual publication of the notice (when there is a moderator).
What if you asked for opinions yourself?
The exercise is fair but also double-edged. Address yourself to a target who will give you a positive and especially viral opinion. We are therefore targeting bloggers and popular influencers who will be palatable to your products and who will be able to promote your site simply and naturally. The use of reviews is very interesting to reach the stars (well those of Google on the SERP of course).
We aim high, and sometimes local!
Do not have any doubts about your ability to seduce older children. Take an interest in the national and international press as well as the media. Indeed, it is often useful and judicious to come to position on titles close to you in everyday life, close to your activity, close to your target.
So, think of being talked about in media with a large audience or specialized in your core business. Your net linking strategy will be satisfied with referral domains of such good quality.
Your link building will have limits only those you have set for yourself
Many techniques for creating backlinks exist and are not described here: expert advice, creating interviews, organizing games and online moments …
However, your best ally in this backlink hunt will remain the network. We invite you to talk about yourself around you, to promote yourself, and to inspire people with relevant content.
The backlink has an advantage, it is often viral … so we cross our fingers so that one of your links multiplies ad infinitum, for the greatest pleasure of your natural referencing.
